Features
Superalloy refers to a class of metal materials based on iron, nickel and cobalt, which can work for a long time at high temperatures above 600°C and under certain stresses. It has excellent high temperature strength, good oxidation resistance and thermal corrosion resistance, good fatigue performance, fracture toughness and other comprehensive properties, and is also known as "super alloy", mainly used in aerospace fields and energy fields.
The high-performing properties: corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, friction resistance, high strength, high heat resistance, high heat resistance.
Mechanical property of superalloys is high strength: high creep resistance, wear resistance, high fatigue life, very hard.
Chemical property of superalloys is high corrosion resistance: Nickel, cobalt, and iron alloys use the selective oxidation of aluminum or chromium to protect them from oxidation. For this to successfully slow down the rate of oxidation, the aluminum or chromium must cover the entire surface of the superalloy.
